Corrections & data accuracy

Spotted a wrong number, a stale dataset, or a formula that doesn't reproduce? This is the most useful thing you can email us. Please include:

  • The page URL (and section heading, if applicable).
  • The specific value that looks wrong, and what you believe the correct value is.
  • Your source, if it's a different dataset than the one we cite.

Email corrections@deepcomps.com. We log every confirmed correction in the changelog and update the page within five business days. Our full Corrections Policy documents how we handle disputed numbers.

Data-source suggestions

If you maintain a dataset (federal, state, professional board, or peer-reviewed) that should inform a DeepComps page, send the dataset URL, license terms, and update cadence to data@deepcomps.com. We prioritize sources that are public, attributable, and updated on a published schedule.

Press & media

For comment on labor-market data, real-wage trends by state, or interstate license reciprocity, email press@deepcomps.com. Please include your outlet, deadline, and the specific data point or analysis you're referencing. We don't comment on individual employers or active negotiations.

Partnerships

Bootcamps, certification programs, and continuing-education providers occasionally appear in our transition ROI calculations. We don't accept payment for inclusion or ranking — placement is driven by program data (tuition, length, completion rate, post-program wage outcomes where reported). To submit program data for review, email partnerships@deepcomps.com. Full disclosure rules are in our About page.

Editorial & general inquiries

Anything else — feedback on a page, a topic you'd like covered, or a question about our methodology — goes to hello@deepcomps.com. The editorial team page lists the analysts who write and review each section.

Response times

  • Corrections — acknowledged within two business days; resolved within five.
  • Press deadlines — flag the deadline in your subject line; we'll reply same-day if reachable.
  • Everything else — within five business days.

What we don't do by email

  • Personalized salary advice — we publish frameworks, not individual recommendations. Use the calculators with your own numbers.
  • Career coaching or resume review — out of scope. We're a data site.
  • Bulk data licensing requests outside fair use — federal data we cite is already public; please use the source agencies directly.

Mailing address

For legal and editorial correspondence requiring postal mail, request the address by emailing hello@deepcomps.com. We'll respond with the appropriate mailing details for your matter.
