2026-05-04 — Site launch (v0.1)

  • Launched 22 P0 pages: 5 calculators (Real Take-Home, Cost of Living, Career Transition ROI, Salary Negotiation, Equity vs Cash), 5 occupation hubs (SWE, RN, Data Scientist, PT, Electrician), 4 license reciprocity pages (Nursing NLC, Teacher, Real Estate, PT Compact), 1 transition (RN → NP), 4 comparisons (PA vs NP, SWE vs DS, CPA vs CMA, MBA vs PMP).
  • Published framework pages: 5 section hubs (/calculator/ /job/ /license-reciprocity/ /transition/ /compare/), About, Methodology, Data Sources, Privacy, Terms, Insights, Glossary, this changelog.
  • Brand identity: deep teal (#0e4a5c) primary + amber (#f59e0b) accent. Full UI redesign planned Phase 2.

Data ingestion baseline

  • BLS OES — May 2024 release: ingestion in progress for 5 P0 occupations × 51 states + national.
  • BEA RPP — 2023 vintage: ingestion in progress.
  • License reciprocity — initial coding: NLC member states (41), PT Compact members, NASDTEC participants, ARELLO partial-reciprocity coding all snapshotted from official trackers as of May 2026.
  • Until ETL completes, occupation pages display indicative figures sourced from May 2024 OES; pages will switch to dynamically-loaded data once `etl/build_real_wage.py` lands.

Roadmap (next 60 days)

  • BLS / BEA ETL pipeline — automated quarterly sync, replacing current static page content with field-driven values.
  • UI redesign — full visual system replacing the current minimal-readability layer (see source CSS for the marker block).
  • Phase 2 occupation rollout — 7 additional occupations once ETL pipeline is stable.
  • GSC + Bing Webmaster verification + sitemap submission — once UI lands and content is editorially complete.
  • Editorial track — first long-form pieces under the four Insights pillars.

Every meaningful data refresh, methodology revision, or page-level correction logs here with a date. We'd rather over-document than have visitors wondering whether numbers are stale.
